A chartered flight carrying representatives of eight foreign trade companies as well as government institutions from Huzhou departed from Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province for Vietnam on Sept 22, local media reported.

This is the first round-trip business flight that has been launched by Huzhou and it comes as part of a broader push from the government to boost foreign trade growth amid the epidemic.

Most of the passengers aboard the chartered plane will participate in the International Exhibition of Products for Pregnant Mothers, Mothers and Children in Hanoi, and carry out business visits.

Vietnam, a RCEP member state, is a prime export market for Huzhou.

This year, Huzhou authorities have taken a series of measures to facilitate the entry and exit of foreign-related business personnel and introduce policies that drive the high-quality development of foreign trade.
