6 rural museums recognized provincially

Six museums in Huzhou recently made the list of Zhejiang provincial rural museums, bringing the total number of such museums in the city to 63, local media reported.
The six listed museums from the city revolve around themes including arts, culture, Red revolutionary history, children education, and folk customs.
Among them is the art and culture museum in Shangwu village, Anji county. The 320-square-meter facility houses 80 pieces of tools, bamboo fans and dragon lanterns that showcase local folk craftsmanship skills.
The Jieli wedding museum located in Fangyan village in Changxing county is also worth visiting. The museum showcased 200-plus stuffs employed in local weddings in four different periods.
The museum in Dadou village in Changxing offers visitors a glimpse into traditional agriculture. Spanning 300 square meters, the museum is home to over 60 pieces of agricultural and daily utensils, such as hand waterwheels, cocoon silk reeling wheels and stone rollers.
Another place on the list is the museum themed on children education in Gangkou village in Changxing county. The 300-square-meter building boasts 204 sets of kindergarten murals from the 1960s and children's toys and picture books from various periods.
