The recent business trip of 18 companies from Anji county, Huzhou to Germany has generated fruitful results.

On Oct 23, 25 representatives of the 18 chair manufacturers from Anji traveled to Germany on a chartered plane to participate in ORGATEC 2022, which was held in Cologne, Germany from Oct 25 to 29.

With an exhibition space of 130,000 square meters, the fair is a leading international trade fair for equipment and furnishing of offices and properties.

Participants from Anji secured many deals at the event. One such example is Anji Deka Office System Co Ltd.

According to Wang Yingjun, Deka's sales director, this was the third time the company had participated in the Cologne fair, during which it received 80 groups of customers, of which about 70 percent expressed an intention to cooperate.

The exhibition has not only served as a platform that helps companies expand presence overseas, but also an important channel for them to collect customer feedback and innovate products accordingly.

This year, Henglin Home Furnishings Co Ltd brought over 30 new products to the exhibition with the hope of acquiring feedback from clients that would allow them to adjust their products to better meet the market demand.

The business flight to Germany is the second chartered flight launched by Huzhou this year. The first of such flights was launched on Sept 22, with 21 representatives from eight local companies traveling to Vietnam where they secured deals worth 70 million yuan ($10.77 million).

Huzhou authorities plan to organize more businesses to attend overseas fair next spring and sustain its efforts to facilitate the entry and exit of foreign-related business personnel.
