Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province secured three investment deals worth $225 million on the first day of the fifth China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
One of them is a digital photography workshop to be established in Huzhou's Deqing county.
With an investment of $102 million, the project is set to comprise several studios and a R&D center, with a total area of about 69,000 square meters. It is expected to inject new vitality into the local filming industry.
Another is an automobile factory with an annual capacity of 10,000 electric logistics vehicle parts to be built in Changxing county. The facility will cost $110 million to build and will cover an area of 103 mu (6.87 hectares).
The third will be a North American facility funded by Zhejiang Longterm Medical Technology Co Ltd. Longterm will invest $13 million to establish a production base in Mexico to engage in the research and development, production and sale of high-end medical dressings.
