The Huzhou Changxing International Fair of Investment, Trade and Talent convened in Changxing county, Huzhou, East China's Zhejaing province, on Nov 7.

The opening ceremony witnessed the signing of agreements for 29 projects worth 30.07 billion yuan ($4.14 billion) that are to be established in Changxing and cover fields such as new energy vehicles, biomedicine, new materials, semiconductors, smart manufacturing, logistics equipment and engineering machinery.

Representatives of involved companies, including Geely, Tianneng, Chilwee, and Noblelift, as well as the Zhejiang Institute of Communications, attended the ceremony.

Prior to the fair, an auto factory funded by Geely with a daily production capacity of more than 1,000 vehicles was inaugurated in Changxing.

The fair, which has been held 21 times, has become an important platform for Changxing to promote opening-up and attract investment.

Changxing has been listed among the top 500 counties nationwide in terms of comprehensive strength, industrial development and green development.

Ninety-three projects with an investment of over 100 million yuan each have been brought to the county so far this year, with a combined value of 60.33 billion yuan, official statistics show.
