Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province recently launched a number of cabins offering free COVID-19 testing and consultation services following the nation's optimization of the epidemic control polices.

The first 20 facilities, which were transformed from roadside nucleic acid sampling stations, were put into operation on Jan 15.

Residents can access consultation services related to medication, recovery from the illness and personal protection against the virus, as well as free health check services.

People are also encouraged to donate their surplus medical supplies to the facilities, which are open daily from 9 am to 11:30 pm until Feb 5.

These facilities will be staffed by 110 volunteers and their medical supplies will be provided by the Huzhou municipal bureau of commerce.
