Deqing county in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, which is home to 69,000 market entities, is taking concrete action to improve its business environment, Huzhou Daily reported.

The Mogan Mountain Hi-tech Industry Development Zone, for example, has sent government employees to enterprises in the Dixin Smart City to learn about their needs and provide customized services. An official of the zone said they will continue to offer financial support and favorable policies to aid the smart city's rapid development.

Party officials in Fuxi sub-district, Deqing also recently visited about 40 local companies and learned that they were facing a labor shortage. To address the issue, the sub-district has planned a series of online and physical job fairs.

Zhongguan town in Deqing also provides comprehensive services to projects that are worth over 100 million yuan ($14.74 million) and will start construction in the first quarter of this year, said an official of the town.

For example, Zhejiang Yatai Biotechnology Co in the town recently reported that a high voltage line at the site of its new project hindered construction progress. Zhongguan authorities then immediately contacted the power sector and planned to later move the line away.
