38 residential communities included in 'future community' program

An additional 38 residential communities from Huzhou have been included in the provincial "future community" program, according to a circular recently published by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
Of the 38 communities, Dongda residential community in Huzhou's Deqing county will be rebuilt while the rest will be renovated.
Huzhou currently has 95 such communities that account for more than 30 percent of the total in city’s urban areas.
The concept of a "future community", which was mentioned in a provincial government report released in 2019, refers to an urban development project that aims to make cities more people-oriented, environmentally friendly and digitalized.
