Representatives of the Olympic committees from 45 Asian countries and regions gathered in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, on April 25 for the Chefs de Mission Seminar.

During the event, participants learned about Hangzhou's preparations for the upcoming 19th Asian Games in September.

Huzhou, one of the co-host cities of the Games, held an exhibition to showcase its local characteristic products like silk, tea, brush pens, paper-cutting works, bamboo fans and lamps during the three-day event.

The exhibition was part of efforts by Huzhou to promote its "Beautiful China, Dynamic Huzhou" branding.

"These things are so beautiful that I really want to go to Huzhou to see how they are made," said a delegate from Kazakhstan who was impressed by bamboo handicrafts like bags and lamps.

The Asian Games will take place between Sept 23 and Oct 8 in Hangzhou and five other cities in Zhejiang province — Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing and Huzhou.
