Zhangbang village in Lijiaxiang town, Changxing county, Huzhou was filled with vibrant colors as a remarkable dragon boat, decorated with an array of beautiful flowers and flags, was launched on May 28.

The event was held as part of an auspicious ceremony to pray for the prosperity and success of both the villagers' families and the nation, while also heralding the approaching the Dragon Boat Festival.

This traditional holiday, also referred to as the Duanwu Festival, is typically celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. This year, it will fall on June 22.
