FIBA 3x3 basketball ends in Deqing

After two days and 25 intense games, the curtain fell on the 2023 FIBA 3x3 Deqing Huzhou Challenger in Deqing county, Zhejiang province, on May 27 with a final score of 21:17.

The Dusseldorf team from Germany defeated the team from Serbia, winning the championship. Dusseldorf player Jurgen Klopp won the Most Valuable Player Award. 

Since the opening of the competition on May 26, 16 men's basketball teams from around the world have demonstrated their skills, putting on some exciting games for fans.  

There were also many Chinese players, including Zhou Yanxu, Zhang Ning and Qi Haotong, who showcased their professional skills during the games.

"The challenge ended successfully. Next, our teams will conduct a review of the competition, carry out a comprehensive analysis of the various problems that occurred during the event and provide solutions to prepare for the 3x3 basketball event of the Asian Games through practical competitions," said Lyu Yan, director of the operating center of the Deqing 3x3 basketball venue.
