Measures unveiled to support development of YRD (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone

The general office of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government recently rolled out a raft of new policy measures aimed at supporting the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone.

These measures are mainly focused on promoting institutional innovation, fostering industrial development, enhancing innovative capabilities, and optimizing infrastructure construction and public services.

The Yangtze River Delta Industrial Cooperation Zone is the second cross-provincial cooperation platform named after the Yangtze River Delta. It consists of Baimaoling farm in Shanghai, the cities of Yixing and Liyang in Jiangsu province, the counties of Changxing and Anji in Zhejiang province, as well as Guangde city and Langxi county in Anhui province, according to the overall plan disclosed for the zone.

The Yangtze River Delta (Huzhou) Industrial Cooperation Zone, which was established in January 2022 and is an integral part of the zone, covers an area of 86.9 square kilometers.

The Yangtze River Delta refers to a region encompassing Shanghai municipality and the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui.
