A government delegation headed by Hong Hupeng, mayor of Huzhou, visited Germany, France and Italy from May 29 to June 7 to seek economic and trade links with the European countries.

During their visit to France, the delegation explored opportunities to establish or expand cooperation with companies like Mersen and Prophesee.

Mersen specializes in electrical specialties and advanced materials for high-tech industries and has a production base in Huzhou's Changxing county, whereas Prophesee provides advanced neuromorphic vision systems.

In Italy, the delegation visited Metelli Group, which has also established a presence in Huzhou and is involved in the production of automotive parts like cooling water pumps.

Jiuli Group and Eisenbau Krämer GmbH held a delivery ceremony in Kreuztal, Germany, which the delegation attended.

Apart from visiting and exploring business opportunities, the delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges with the local business community, China's overseas investment promotion agencies, and overseas Chinese businessmen.
