A photography exhibition entitled "Impressions of Huzhou" kicked off at the Chinese Cultural Center in Tokyo, Japan, on June 27.

Featuring 54 exceptional works, the exhibition captures Huzhou's awe-inspiring natural landscapes, rich historical heritage, and vibrant folk customs through the artful play of light and shadow.

The event serves as an invaluable platform for both the Japanese public and overseas Chinese residing in Japan to gain an in-depth understanding and appreciation for Huzhou.

"See Beautiful China in Huzhou", the city's slogan, was also highlighted during the exhibition, marking Huzhou's first overseas promotional endeavor.

Distinguished guests, including Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Jianghao, former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, and Party Chief of Huzhou Chen Hao, attended the opening ceremony.

During the ceremony, Huzhou signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Japan.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Sino-Japanese Peace and Friendship Treaty, adding a symbolic element to the exhibition. Huzhou's remarkable cultural and natural treasures will undoubtedly foster mutual appreciation and friendship between China and Japan.
