Huzhou kicks off cultural events to welcome Asian Games

Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province has kicked off a series of cultural events to celebrate the upcoming Asian Games and enhance the city's cultural vibrancy. 

The festivities began with a captivating concert by the band 6712 at Dongwu Yintai Department Store on the evening of July 16.

This cultural extravaganza is a collaborative effort between the Huzhou Municipal Bureau of Cultural, Radio, Television, and Tourism and the Huzhou Cultural Center. With an ambition to be designated as the Culture City of East Asia, Huzhou has been making great efforts to foster a diverse range of cultural events.

From July to September, Huzhou will be hosting over 50 cultural events, promising residents and visitors a rich variety of entertainment options including music, dance, exhibitions, and more.

As a co-host city of the 19th Asian Games, Huzhou will be responsible for the volleyball events and 3-on-3 basketball competitions.
