With just 30 days remaining until the 19th Asian Games, the co-host city of Huzhou is fully prepared to deliver an exhilarating sports extravaganza.

Huzhou, a city known for its scenic beauty, will host the volleyball and 3-on-3 basketball competitions during the Games. The construction of the stadiums designated for these events has been completed and passed acceptance by the Asian Games organizing committee.

Huzhou's Deqing county boasts the world's first purpose-built fixed 3-on-3 basketball stadium, which will be utilized for the intense basketball matches.

In addition, the Deqing Sports Center Gymnasium, where the volleyball competitions will be held, has undergone renovations and has already hosted several test events to ensure its readiness.

She Jianjun, an official at the Huzhou Municipal Sports Bureau, said that the Hangzhou Asian Games is more than a mere sporting event. It serves as a catalyst for regional development and brings forth various benefits for the public beyond the boundaries of the competition venues.

Moreover, She Jianjun revealed that Huzhou has witnessed the addition of nearly 100 new sports facilities this year. The city is gradually achieving its goal of providing easily accessible fitness facilities within a 10-minute walking distance for its residents
