The Anji Branch of Zhejiang Museum of Natural History has recently been recognized as one of the most outstanding public cultural venues in Zhejiang province in 2023. This prestigious honor has been bestowed upon a total of 28 establishments across the province.

Covering a vast area of 61,000 square meters, the museum is divided into 10 distinct sections, each dedicated to a specific topic such as geology, ecology, oceanography, dinosaurs, natural art, and film. In addition, the museum boasts seven interactive spaces that provide visitors with immersive experiences in nature.

The museum's mission revolves around the research and conservation of natural heritage and biodiversity as well as the promotion of ecological culture. It is one of the largest single-structure natural museums in Asia.
