The first match of the men's volleyball event at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games was held at the Deqing Sports Centre Gymnasium on Sept 20. Japan emerged victorious over Afghanistan with a score of 3-0, marking the end of the first match to be held in Huzhou, one of the co-host cities for the Games.

The second match of the day took place at 7:00 pm at the same gymnasium, with Indonesia and the Philippines facing off against each other.

Taking place exclusively at the Deqing Sports Centre Gymnasium, the men's volleyball competition of the Hangzhou Asian Games is scheduled to be held from Sept 19 to 26. Athletes from 19 countries and regions have been divided into six groups, all vying for glory.
