Asian Games events wrap up in Huzhou

All Hangzhou Asian Games competitions in the co-host city of Huzhou successfully concluded on Oct 6 with the final women's volleyball competition held at the Deqing Sports Center Gymnasium.

On this day, six women's volleyball teams competed in three matches to determine the final rankings for 5th-6th, 7th-8th, and 11th-12th places.

According to official statistics, the Deqing Sports Center Gymnasium served as the host venue for a total of 25 matches for both the men's and women's volleyball events. It accommodated 850 athletes and accompanying officials, along with 100 international technical officials, 300 domestic technical officials, and 556 registered media personnel.

Another prominent venue, the Geographic Information Park Basketball Court, played a crucial role in hosting the 3-on-3 basketball competition during the Asian Games. It witnessed a total of 81 matches and welcomed 952 athletes and accompanying officials, as well as 75 international technical officials, 172 domestic technical officials, and 329 registered media personnel.
