The 3rd China Space Science Conference kicked off in Deqing county, Huzhou on Oct 15.

Regarded as the country's premier academic event in the field, the conference brings together various branches of space science for thorough discussions. Initiated by the China Space Science Society, this biennial conference spans four days and encompasses an international space science forum, 13 lectures, and 41 academic sub-forums and special forums.

More than 1,000 esteemed experts and scholars from over 200 research institutes, universities, enterprises, and national and provincial-level key laboratories congregated at the conference, representing 27 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

This event was jointly organized by the China Space Science Society, Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, and Huzhou Municipal People's Government.

During the opening ceremony, the 3rd China Space Science Society Science and Technology Awards were held, along with the announcement of the "Most Beautiful Science and Technology Workers in the China Space Science Field for 2023".
