Chen Hao, Party chief of Huzhou, warmly received a government delegation from Yeongam, South Korea, on Nov 13.

During the meeting, Chen highlighted the successful exchange activities in culture, sports, and education between Huzhou and Yeongam that have been strengthening the relationship between the two cities since 2003. He underscored the significance of youth exchange programs and expressed his eagerness to further enhance interactions, expand economic cooperation, and commemorate the upcoming 20th anniversary of their sister-city relationship.

The Korean delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm reception in Huzhou. They commended Huzhou for its role as a co-host city of the Hangzhou Asian Games and its stunning natural environment. Both sides emphasized the long shared history, rich cultures, and breathtaking natural beauty of Huzhou and Yeongam. Looking ahead, they expressed their commitment to fostering mutual learning, expanding cooperation, and achieving fruitful outcomes for the benefit of the people in both cities.
