The 2023 Huzhou Commodity Fair & Huzhou Open Week commenced on Nov 16, marking the beginning of a vibrant showcase of economic and cultural progress in Huzhou.

The opening ceremony, attended by esteemed government officials, entrepreneurs, and investors, resonated with their unwavering confidence and keen interest in Huzhou's promising development prospects.

Highlighting the prosperity of Huzhou, a special documentary capturing its remarkable economic and cultural achievements was widely acclaimed during the event. Additionally, Huzhou unveiled 12 overseas warehouses strategically located in countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and Thailand, bolstering international trade ties.

The event served as a remarkable platform for forging profitable collaborations, as 49 projects were signed with a staggering total investment of 42.6 billion yuan ($5.88 billion). A total of 78 trade contracts, amounting to 22.9 billion yuan, were also inked during the event.

Underscoring Huzhou's commitment to global cooperation, Wuxing district of Huzhou established a strategic agreement with a French city on the establishment of an international industry alliance.

In addition, in an aim to further strengthen collaboration and attract foreign investments, Huzhou appointed influential international figures from esteemed business associations in countries including Spain, South Korea, and Malaysia as its investment ambassadors.
