Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province has once again been recognized as one of the happiest prefecture-level cities in China.

This prestigious honor was announced at the China Happy Cities Forum 2023, which was held in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province, on Nov 24. Organized by Oriental Outlook magazine, a subsidiary of Xinhua News Agency, the survey has been held every year for the past 17 years.

Alongside Huzhou, other cities on the list of happiest prefecture-level cities include Wenzhou, Taizhou, Suzhou, Ordos, Wuxi, Panzhihua, Weihai, Yingkou, and Jiayuguan.

Chen Hao, Party chief of Huzhou, attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech on behalf of the city's award-winning delegation. He shared the "secrets of happiness" that have contributed to Huzhou's success with guests from all over the country.
