Huzhou, located in East China's Zhejiang province, has garnered attention amidst the mounting popularity of the TV drama If Running Is My Life.

The series, currently being broadcast on CCTV-8 and streamed on iQiyi, has been attracting a growing audience due to its engaging plot and rich character development.

Fan Chengwei, the external liaison producer for the series at the Huzhou Film and Television Service Center, revealed that the majority of the drama's scenes were filmed in Huzhou, showcasing several of the city's iconic landmarks such as the Twin Towers, Nanxun Ancient Town, Huzhou University, Huzhou Vocational & Technical College, Lianhua Manor, and Changtianyang Wetland Park.

Production for the drama began in early February 2023, with Fan disclosing that approximately 99 percent of the filming occurred in Huzhou over a period of two and a half months.

Adapted from Ji Jingrong's novel by the same name, If Running Is My Life boasts a star-studded cast, including Zhong Chuxi, Yang Chaoyue, Xu Di, and Chen Xiaoyi.

The storyline revolves around the aftermath of a sudden car accident that disrupts the lives of two once-happy families, highlighting the resilience and growth within the bonds of two sets of mothers and daughters.

In recent years, Huzhou's film and television industry has gained momentum, particularly with the establishment of the Huzhou Film and Television Service Center in 2022. The city has become a favored backdrop for various productions, ranging from Minguo-themed dramas to modern urban stories, solidifying its status as a preferred filming location.
