Huzhou's per capita disposable income hits 63,972 yuan in 2023

Huzhou's overall per capita disposable income in 2023 increased by 5.6 percent to 63,972 yuan ($8,882.97), according to official data from the Huzhou branch of the National Bureau of Statistics.

Specifically, the per capita disposable income of the city's urban residents rose 4.7 percent to 77,400 yuan, while the figure for rural residents was 47,455 yuan, up 7.6 percent.

Wages are still the biggest source of income for residents in Huzhou, followed by net operating income, net transfer income, and net asset income.

The per capita wage income of local residents stood at 36,472 yuan, a growth of 4.5 percent year-on-year. Meanwhile, the per capita operating income, net transfer income and net asset income were 13,645 yuan, 8,704 yuan and 5,150 yuan, respectively, up 7 percent, 8.6 percent and 5.5 percent.
