Huzhou will initiate a month-long talent recruitment campaign following the Spring Festival holiday, as reported by local media.

The initiative will commence with a large-scale job fair, slated to be held at the Yangtze River Delta Talent Service Center in the city on Feb 19.

Over 100 public institutions and companies have confirmed their participation, collectively offering an excess of 4,000 job openings, with the highest annual salary reaching 1 million yuan ($139,028).

The event will also unveil 100 positions for civil servants and public institution employees, with on-site consultations available for interested candidates.

Prospective employees can easily access specific job details via the official WeChat account of the Huzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security. Additionally, the human resources and social security departments in various districts and counties have established hotlines and WeChat groups to facilitate inquiries and communication.

In recent years, Huzhou has rolled out a range of incentives to entice college students to seek employment or establish businesses within the city.

Students engaged in internships in Huzhou are eligible for a monthly subsidy of 1,000 yuan per person, calculated at 50 yuan per day in months with less than 20 internship days.

After securing employment, students can receive an annual employment subsidy of up to 15,000 yuan for three consecutive years, depending on the nature of the employer.

In addition, students who establish their first business or engage in individual operations in Huzhou, particularly in sectors such as elderly care, home services, and modern agriculture, are entitled to a substantial subsidy of 100,000 yuan. For other types of businesses or individual entities, a subsidy of 10,000 yuan is provided.
