During the recently concluded eight-day Spring Festival holiday, Nanxun Ancient Town, a national 5A scenic spot in Huzhou, welcomed an influx of visitors eager to delve into the town's rich cultural and historical tapestry.
Dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279), Nanxun Ancient Town holds the prestigious distinction of being the first Jiangnan ancient town in China to be included in the World Cultural Heritage list. The term "Jiangnan" refers to the region located in the southern part of the Yangtze River.
Visitors to the town overwhelmingly favor boat tours, which offer an enchanting way to explore the intricate network of waterways that weave through the town.
