Huzhou, situated in East China's Zhejiang province, has burst into a vibrant spectacle as plum blossoms have reached their peak bloom, painting the city with a rich tapestry of colors.

Oriental Plum Garden

The Oriental Plum Garden, nestled in Longshan sub-district, Changxing county, Huzhou, boasts more than 20 varieties of over 30,000 plum trees, spanning an area of over 300-plus mu (20 hectares).

Since the start of the flowering season, the garden has seen a surge in visitors, with numbers exceeding 20,000 per day. The prime time to witness the blossoms is around March 25, with several varieties continuing to bloom through the end of March to mid-April.

Yuanxiang Small Town

Yuanxiang Small Town, a tourism resort located in Huzhou's Wuxing district, encompasses a total area of 1,480 mu. It is home to Asia's largest butterfly museum and a sprawling plum garden covering 1,000 mu.

Within the plum garden, twelve pavilions and a 4.8-kilometer trail have been established, providing visitors with the perfect vantage points to admire the blooming flowers.

Shangzhu Mountain Fantasy Valley

Venturing into the Shangzhu Mountain Fantasy Valley in Deqing county unveils a mesmerizing sight of dragon plum branches flowing like waterfalls, creating a breathtaking display of layered flowering cascades — a natural wonder that leaves onlookers in awe.

As the plum blossoms blanket the region in their resplendent hues, locals and visitors alike are drawn to the Oriental Bonsai Garden, an integral part of the Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise, located in Changxing county, celebrating the arrival of spring and the timeless allure of nature's floral symphony.
