Han Jiayu, a rising shooting sensation from Huzhou, Zhejiang province, has secured her place to represent China in the upcoming Paris Olympics.

Han's hard-earned spot in the Games was confirmed after she emerged victorious in the selection trials held on March 18. Alongside her, Huang Yuting, another talented athlete from Zhejiang, will also compete in the women's 10-meter air rifle event at the international sporting event.

With an impressive track record, Han has established herself as a formidable force in the world of shooting sports. Her remarkable journey began in May 2023 at the Baku leg of the ISSF Shooting World Cup, where she made a resounding international debut by clinching the gold medal in the women's 10m air rifle event.

Continuing her winning streak, she went on to secure the championship title in the same event at the 2023 ISSF World Championships later that year. Han's prowess was further underscored at the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou in 2023, where she and her teammates claimed two gold medals in the women's 10m air rifle team event and the women's 50m rifle three positions team event.
