Huzhou dazzles at 135th Canton Fair

A total of 304 companies hailing from Huzhou, Zhejiang province are participating in the 135th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, which kicked off on April 15.

These companies are set to showcase a wide array of products, with household appliances, electronics, and electrical goods taking the spotlight in the first phase of the fair. The second phase will feature furniture, construction materials, and decoration items, while the third phase will highlight textile raw materials, fabrics, and household textiles.

This year, Huzhou has secured 613 booths, encompassing 218 branded booths representing 48 companies and 395 general booths representing 261 companies. The initial phase of the exhibition, scheduled from April 15 to 19, witnessed the participation of 66 Huzhou companies, collectively occupying 124 booths.

Maxge Electric Technology Co Ltd, a circuit breaker supplier and manufacturer from Huzhou, is among the participants at the fair. The company's products are distributed across more than 60 countries and regions worldwide, including Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. On the first day of the exhibition, Maxge secured intended orders amounting to $490,000, as confirmed by the company's representative.

Another standout from the Huzhou delegation is Huzhou Nanyang Electric-Motor Co Ltd. A representative from the company revealed that their booth received over 30 visits from potential buyers on the first day, resulting in intended orders worth $1.5 million.

Founded in 1992 in Huzhou's Nanxun district, Nanyang specializes in the development, manufacturing, and sales of motors for household appliances and new energy vehicles. The company has expanded its product reach to 18 countries and regions in Southeast Asia, Europe, and the US.
