Cloud Farm, a once-sleepy sheep farm in Nanxun district, Huzhou, has evolved into a photogenic space, attracting visitors and photographers alike.

The transformation began in early 2023 when a friend of the farm's owner, Shen Yuhao, was captivated by the unspoiled rural beauty of the area, casually noting how picturesque the venue looked.

This passing comment sparked a visionary idea in Shen's mind. "Many of my friends are involved in the fashion industry and have connections to social media influencers. Coupled with the abundance of photo enthusiasts in the vicinity, I envisioned creating a farm-style commercial photography hub," he said.

Since then, the once unassuming surroundings have undergone a makeover, evolving into a photographer's paradise. Lined with parked cars, adorned with cacti, and embellished with artfully arranged plants, the farm now provides an ideal backdrop for breathtaking photographs. The addition of a spacious rooftop, gravel-covered paths, lettered white walls, and a striking spiral staircase has transformed every corner into a potential "masterpiece".

The farm now offers an array of services catering to a wide spectrum of needs, including team building, commercial photography, camping, and family activities.

The farm's transformation swiftly captured the public's imagination, drawing a constant flow of commercial photography teams and young tourists. "I visit almost every week. The diverse scenes are particularly well-suited for children's clothing shoots," remarked Yu Xiaohua, a clothing business owner.

Beyond e-commerce sellers, outdoor brands have also been drawn to the expansive venue for photo shoots. Notably, renowned automobile manufacturers such as Geely and BYD have been enticed to the location. A single shoot can yield between 20,000 ($2,762.72) to 30,000 yuan, providing the farm with a substantial income stream.

"During peak times, daily earnings of 100,000 yuan are not uncommon, and we can handle over 1,000 shoots on average each month," Shen disclosed. He emphasized that the farm experiences no off-season, with clients continuing to arrive even in winter.
