The Ministry of Natural Resources recently announced the first 15 exemplary cases of ecological restoration at the 2024 China Mining Conference and Exhibition. Among them, the Qingshan Stone Mine Ecological Restoration Project by Huzhou Xinkaiyuan Gravel Co stood out as the sole representative from Zhejiang province.

Recognized as a pioneering national green mine, the project is trailblazing innovative pathways for eco-friendly, low-carbon, and high-quality resource development. The company focuses on green and clean production across all operations, leveraging self-developed technologies to boost efficiency, enhance resource utilization, and mitigate environmental pollution.

The selection of the Qingshan Stone Mine Ecological Restoration Project underscores Huzhou's commitment to advancing green mine construction. The city has spearheaded initiatives in intelligent green mining, digital transformations, and integrated mining land development.

Huzhou leads the province in completing all the pilot tasks of constructing intelligent green mines, with seven intelligent green mines and four digitized mines having been established.
