Huzhou attends 2024 China International Friendship Cities Conference

Huzhou, Zhejiang province, participated in the 2024 China International Friendship Cities Conference, which was held in Kunming, Yunnan province, from Nov 18 to 19.
During the parallel forum focusing on "green urban development for public welfare", Deputy Mayor Zheng Xinyou represented Huzhou in an exchange speech.
Representatives from the World Organization of United Cities and Local Governments and the World Association of Major Metropolises, as well as cities including Kobe in Japan, Kuching South in Malaysia, Yancheng in Jiangsu province, and Shenyang in Liaoning province, also delivered keynote speeches.
The conference, with the tagline "Common Prosperity, Shared Future", was co-hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the China International Friendship Cities Association, and the Yunnan Provincial Government. Over 700 participants, including representatives from 41 countries, attended the event.
To date, Huzhou has established sister cities and friendly exchange relationships with 41 cities in 21 countries, spanning five continents.
