Huzhou's Wuxing creating a promising 'New Youth City'

The Wuxing New Youth City Promotion Shanghai Conference was held on Dec 16. Themed "Shanghai-Wuxing Connectivity, Usher in a Bright Future", the event spotlighted Wuxing district in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, as a city conducive to learning, leisure, living, and business.
At the conference, the Huzhou Wuxing Liaison Office of the Yangtze River Delta G60 Sci-tech Innovation Corridor was inaugurated and the "New Youth City Wuxing" high-speed rail service was unveiled.
With the imminent launch of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou high-speed rail, Wuxing is poised to be within a one-hour commute from major cities in the Yangtze River Delta, fostering a seamless, integrated commuting circle and aligning comprehensively with the region's development.
Huzhou officials emphasized its shared geographical and cultural ties with Shanghai, underscoring their joint commitment to high-quality integrated development. Wuxing, as Huzhou's primary urban area and flagship district, is actively developing a "New Youth City" centered on youth preferences and entrepreneurship.
The conference also featured a traditional Huju Opera performance, dancing, and music to showcase Wuxing's vibrant lifestyle and urban transformation.
Several strategic cooperation agreements were signed between Wuxing and higher education institutions and corporations, while 20 industrial projects, such as an AI-driven CNC machine tool manufacturing base and a cartoon culture-themed park, were launched in Huzhou.
