During the third session of the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, He Xiaohong, a deputy to the provincial congress from Huzhou, shared Anji county's efforts in attracting youth entrepreneurship while receiving a media interview on Jan 15.

Anji's rural coffee culture has gained widespread attention online, with over 300 unique coffee shops in the small county attracting young tourists. This trend reflects the success of Anji's initiative to encourage youth to start their adventure in the rural area.

He highlighted the Deep Blue, a popular rural coffee shop, which started with a few young individuals using an abandoned mine to create a unique coffee space. Within 24 months, they achieved a remarkable milestone of selling 8,818 cups in a single day.

She emphasized how the convergence of youth in rural areas and the efforts to attract young talent have transformed Anji. The county has been promoting the initiative of attracting young college students and providing an all-round guarantee system for their entrepreneurship.

This strategy has enriched Anji's rural creative industries, strengthened urban-rural integration, and nurtured new business forms like camping, paragliding, and sports events.

He invited young professionals to Anji, describing it as a place where aspirations find resonance and actions yield results. Since 2019, over 50,000 young individuals have chosen Anji for work and entrepreneurship, making it a preferred choice for youngsters venturing into rural areas.
