Huzhou in Zhejiang province was bustling with activity during the Spring Festival holiday. With the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-speed Railway now operating, the city has become a hotspot for tourists from throughout the Yangtze River Delta region.
The Xinshi Ancient Town celebrated Chinese New Year with festive activities including a lantern festival, food festival, and Yueju Opera performances, filling the air with a vibrant atmosphere.
At the Xiazhu Lake National Wetland Park, a golden "dragon" soared into the sky, kicking off the dragon dance to the sound of powerful drumbeats. The captivating performance showcased the majestic charm of the Chinese dragon, earning cheers and applause from the audience.
The Tribute Tea Museum of Tang Dynasty in Changxing county experienced a surge in visitors, with around 5,000 daily entries during the holiday. Renowned for the national intangible cultural heritage "Zisun Tea making techniques", the museum offered Tang Dynasty (618-907) court tea art performances and traditional folk activities.
Residents and tourists also immersed themselves in a variety of cultural experiences, appreciating artistic performances on Aishan Square and strolling along Qingyuanfang, a street blending traditional and modern architectural styles and creating a unique and enchanting atmosphere for all who visited.
