The inauguration ceremony of the "Qinglaiji" Youth Rural Practice Site in Anji county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, was held on Feb 24.

This site is part of Zhejiang's 2025 initiative to establish 1,000 youth rural practice sites, focusing on employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people. Qinglaiji is the province's first operational youth rural practice site.

Designed to offer internships and jobs for college graduates and youth, the site provides a range of services including employment guidance, entrepreneurial support, skills training, and living assistance. Officials from Anji Agricultural and Rural Affairs Bureau expressed optimism that the site's operations will boost rural employment and entrepreneurship, attracting more young individuals to engage in rural development.

Anji has prioritized attracting 100,000 college students as a key strategic goal, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to talent attraction, cultivation, employment, and retention.

The Dayu village area in the county has implemented initiatives such as the Yucun Global Youth Development College, youth communities, and shared workspaces to provide holistic support for young talents.

Currently, the area has attracted 60 partners and new economic projects, with over 1,200 young professionals and more than 100 agricultural innovators being nurtured.
