The International Spring Camping Festival was held at the Xiaohangkeng campsite in Xiayang village, Anji county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, from March 8 to 11. Camper from countries including South Korea and the United Kingdom gathered to experience the region's lush greenery and clear waters.

Xiaohangkeng campsite is a sought-after camping destination in China. Camping has transformed Xiayang village from a backwater village to one with tourism income surpassing 12 million yuan ($1.66 million), increasing the average income of villagers by 18,000 yuan per household.

A camper from South Korea was surprised by the comprehensive facilities, including showers, storage lockers, and even convenience stores and restaurants, which allowed them to enjoy camping more easily.

Li Taisong, manager of the Porter Uncle brand — one of the event organizers, said, "This place is closer to nature compared to other campsites. Camping culture in China is relatively new compared to Japan and South Korea, so I want international campers to come to China for camping and engage in deeper cross-border camping culture exchanges."
