In response to the booming global electric vehicle market, Zhejiang Minsheng Automotive Parts Company, located in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, is witnessing a significant uptick in demand for its battery boxes.

These critical components, which serve as protective casings for EV power batteries, have orders lined up through the fourth quarter of this year, with major shipments destined for Serbia, France, and South Korea.

The company's facility in Wuxing district, Huzhou utilizes advanced automated robotic arms to efficiently weld aluminum and accelerate production. This rigorous process involves 17 steps to ensure the battery boxes meet high safety standards, such as impact and vibration resistance.

Pan Ping, production manager of Minsheng, said that the factory generates a monthly output of approximately 50 million yuan ($6.88 million).

Yang Xiaosan, production operations manager, highlighted the company’s robust R&D team of over 350 experts across multiple countries. This global collaboration allows for tailored product development, enhancing customer satisfaction.

After more than three decades of innovation and expansion, the company boasts an annual production capacity of 600,000 battery boxes and operates factories in Mexico, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom.

A new production line set to launch in July will further boost output, primarily serving markets in France and South Korea, as the company anticipates a 45 percent increase in output value this year.
