Huzhou companies secure $144m in orders at Canton Fair
Over 300 companies from Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province secured preliminary orders worth $144 million at the 137th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, which concluded on May 5 in Guangzhou.
These Huzhou's exhibitors showcased their products across 627 booths, impressing buyers from over 219 countries and regions.
Focusing on their strengths in green home products, children's clothing, chair manufacturing, and smart equipment, Huzhou's exhibitors created themed zones that captivated international attention.
During the Canton Fair's third phase, the Huzhou delegation set up 273 booths, attracting more than 3,000 buyers daily. Their innovative offerings drew significant interest from buyers from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the Middle East, and Europe.

At the third phase, a highlight was "The Global Capital of Kids Fashion — Zhili" promotional activity, which connected over 200 professional buyers from more than 20 countries, including Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, with Huzhou's children's clothing manufacturers.
Debuting at the fair, Huzhou Yufan Cosmetics Technology introduced 20 new fragrance products tailored for Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
Similarly, Zhejiang Taipusen Industrial Group, based in Huzhou, attracted international attention with its innovative designs, such as foldable sunshade rocking chairs and waterproof thermal bags, engaging buyers from Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Italy.
