Huzhou cross-border e-commerce conference hosts key players
The 2025 Huzhou Cross-Border E-Commerce Ecosystem Conference was held on June 4-5 in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, bringing together hundreds of global e-commerce platforms, local industry leaders, and service providers.
The aim was to explore new opportunities in cross-border e-commerce and accelerate the global expansion of Huzhou's brands.
Major platforms like Amazon, Ozon, eMAG, and Coupang shared their insights into market trends in Russia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Asia — along with strategies for creating bestselling products.
A key feature was the "Bestseller Matching Zone", which focused on Huzhou's four major industrial clusters — Zhili children's clothing, Anji swivel chairs, Deqing green home furnishings, and Wuxing beauty products. The initiative aimed to facilitate collaboration between local manufacturers and international sellers to develop hit products for global markets.
Businessman Victor, sales director at Anji Ouge Furniture Company, highlighted the importance of cross-border e-commerce, noting that its share of the company's sales had shot up from 20 percent to 60 percent in just over two years.
Meanwhile, the Hugo Cross-Border Group signed a memorandum of understanding with Huzhou's commerce bureau, to promote a development model that combines cross-border e-commerce with industry clusters — integrating resources across government, platforms, and factories.
Additionally, the Huzhou Cross-Border E-Commerce Research Institute was established during the conference, further supporting Huzhou's moves towards global market integration.
