'ZheBA' Huzhou basketball games conclude with thrilling victories
The final round of Huzhou division's preliminaries for the 2025 Zhejiang Provincial City Basketball League was marked by thrilling tussles on July 20 in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.
As the biggest and most prestigious amateur basketball event in the province, the league — also known as "ZheBA" — runs from July 2025 to February 2026, featuring teams from 90 counties (county-level cities and districts) across 11 cities.
The competition includes preliminary rounds and the City Championship. Preliminary rounds in each city are set to conclude by July 2025, and the City Championship will start on Aug 8.

At the final round of Huzhou division's preliminaries, the team from Changxing county emerged victorious, defeating their strongest rivals, Deqing county's team, with a score of 76-65.
The victory marked the Changxing team's fourth consecutive win, making it the champion team of Huzhou division's preliminaries, and it will join a city-level joint team to represent Huzhou in the City Championship.
The Changxing home game drew a large crowd, filling the Changxing Sports Center to capacity.
During the game breaks, local performances — including a nationally-recognized intangible cultural heritage show, the Changxing Baiye dragon dance — entertained the audience, showing Huzhou's unique cultural charms.
