Anji county in Huzhou city, East China's Zhejiang province has unveiled the Xianxia Town theme park as a star attraction of its Skyland Resort — one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region.

The theme park is a dreamlike escape inspired by xianxia — the Chinese fantasy about immortals and martial arts.

The opening ceremony at the Nine-Colored Deer Square in the park combined traditional xianxia themes with modern tourism innovations, featuring a dazzling light show. Visitors were treated to an immersive tourist experience and over 110 exciting performances.

Stretching 1.8 kilometers, the Xianxia Town theme park combines mountain amusements — including captivating performances, fantasy night tours, and xianxia-themed travel photography — integrating the concept of ecological conservation into its storytelling.

The "Most Beautiful Sky Road", a route with cloud-swept mountain trails and cableways, links the Yucun scenic area in Anji's Yucun village to the Skyland Resort in just 25 minutes.

The route has halved the travel time, connecting the two sites while completing 12,000 square meters of ecological restoration, according to Xu Yufan, executive general manager of Anji's Skyland Resort. The project marks a new phase in Anji's rural tourism, Xu added.
