In the bustling production season, manufacturer Zhejiang Spaceman Ice Systems Company, located in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, is ramping up production of its Spaceman soft-serve ice cream machines for export.

"Our equipment has been integrated into international chains like KFC, McDonald's, Dicos, and Costco," said Dong Lingyu, the company's deputy general manager. The company's products are now sold in over 130 countries and regions, he added.

Zhejiang Spaceman has become the third-largest ice cream machine supplier in the United States, with last year's output value hitting 150 million yuan ($21.03 million). In the first half of this year, the company reported a 15 percent year-on-year increase in output value.

Zhejiang Spaceman has been focusing on technical advancements to bolster its competitiveness in the overseas high-end soft-serve ice cream machine market.

Soft-serve ice cream, known for its rich texture, relies on a high overrun and specialized equipment. Key factors include the evaporator's cooling efficiency and the design of mixing components.

Zhejiang Spaceman has achieved autonomy in its core components and is continuing to optimize its technology.

The company's Spaceman-branded machines have received multiple international certifications, penetrating high-end markets.

The company is also developing new products, including a versatile ice cream and milkshake machine.
