As China's National Day coincides with Mid-Autumn Festival, Shuanglin ancient town located in Huzhou, Zhejiang province will offer a series of activities for locals and tourists from Oct 1 to 8.

The town's opera stage is set for a grand performance. During the eight-day holiday, professional opera shows will be held daily at 1:00 pm. A highlight is scheduled for Oct 5, when a youth opera troupe will perform, blending tradition with youthful energy and promising to be a standout moment of the break.

During the fun, visitors can explore the Cai Family Residence not just as tourists but as history and intangible cultural heritage explorers. The integration of cultural exploration and fun games will offer a deeper understanding of the site's heritage.

At the Shuanglin Children's Museum Island Study Base, visitors can embark on treasure hunts or participate in a Lego creative challenge, which combine pleasure with learning.

While enjoying the picturesque scenery of the ancient town, visitors can camp, embrace tranquility, and savor local gastronomic delicacies, including the signature dish of Shuanglin noodles.
