Global young entrepreneurs gather in Huzhou for dialogue, cooperation
The Second International Cooperation and Development Conference for Young Entrepreneurs opened on Oct 28 in Anji county, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, aiming to foster dialogue and collaboration among young entrepreneurs worldwide.
At the opening ceremony, Wang Yi, vice-chairman of the All-China Youth Federation, emphasized the crucial role of young entrepreneurs as innovative and creative forces in global economic development.
Fabrizio Hochschild, former under-secretary-general of the United Nations, urged young entrepreneurs to embrace technological and industrial transformations, focus on innovation in artificial intelligence, big data, clean energy, and green development, and strengthen international cooperation for sustainable growth.
Chen Hao, Party secretary of Huzhou, welcomed international guests, describing the city as strategic, culturally rich, ecologically beautiful, and industrially robust.
A highlight of the opening ceremony was the joint release of the International Young Entrepreneurs Innovation Cooperation (Anji) Declaration, which calls on young entrepreneurs to actively participate in reshaping the global economic landscape, uphold the multilateral trading system, and contribute to building an open world economy.
Organized by the China International Youth Exchange Center and the International Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Associations, the five-day conference features participants from nearly 40 countries and regions. Discussions will focus on innovation, collaboration, and opportunities in AI and green industries.
