The 8th China International Import Expo, also known as CIIE, kicked off in Shanghai on Nov 5, with 354 participating companies from Huzhou, Zhejiang province, spanning sectors such as technology, food, and consumer goods.

Zhejiang Nyso Network Technology, an import trade service company, is displaying new products at the expo. According to sales manager Tao Yijie, "Our company represents products from Japan, Europe, and the United States, offering over 50,000 quality overseas items across hundreds of series."

As a regular participant, Nyso aims to expand its market reach through this international platform. The company has finalized its booth design and is setting up in Shanghai with around 140 specially crafted items.

Traditional Chinese tea-making techniques from Changxing Zisun tea and Anji white tea are featured in the expo's "Cultural Exchange Activities" for the first time.

"We aim to showcase the thousand-year-old culture of Zisun tea, a vital part of Chinese tea heritage," said Zhang Zhongyi, a tea heritage inheritor from Changxing Agricultural Development. "We've selected six products for display and will demonstrate traditional tea-making processes."

The expo runs from Nov 5 to 10, attracting over 4,100 companies from more than 155 countries and regions.

Huzhou's participation includes special exhibits by companies such as Huzhou Niwei Trade and Zhejiang Langduo Foods, as well as showcases of local intangible cultural heritage techniques, highlighting the region's cultural heritage and innovation.
