Snack exports from Huzhou, Zhejiang province, reached 31 million yuan ($4.39 million) from January to November this year, representing a 5 percent increase year-on-year, according to Huzhou Customs.

At Zhejiang Moganshan Food, located in Huzhou, the sweet aroma of fruit fills the air. On the automated production line, fresh fruits are washed, processed, and dried before being packaged and set for export.

Zhejiang Moganshan Food, a long-established player in the preserved fruit industry, has expanded its offerings this year by adding fruit-flavored gummies and introducing locally pickled seaweed to international markets. To facilitate customs clearance, Huzhou Customs provided guidance to the company.

From January to November, the company exported over 390 metric tons of preserved fruits, maintaining its leading position among local food exporters.

With support from Huzhou Customs, Zhejiang Huaweiheng Food, another traditional brand, recorded a 198.8 percent year-on-year increase in exports from January to November.
