In Deqing county, Huzhou, the making of huanxituan marks the beginning of the provisions for Spring Festival. Locals use glutinous rice flour and sugar to craft these colorful treats. This tradition not only preserves cultural heritage but also symbolizes people's hopes for a joyful and harmonious Spring Festival.

Meanwhile, in Hanggai town, Anji county, the traditional craft of making yingao continues to thrive. Local villagers use intricately carved molds featuring motifs such as the Chinese characters of fu, lu, shou, xi, meaning good fortune, prosperity, longevity, and happiness, as well as motifs of plum blossoms, orchids, bamboo, and chrysanthemums to create these delicate cakes.
