At the Deqing "Source of Jiangnan" Cultural Heritage Park in Deqing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, visitors are engaging in an augmented reality journey at the Porcelain Source Museum.

The museum focuses on showcasing Deqing's ancient porcelain culture and houses over 1,100 artifacts. Within a month of opening, it has quickly emerged as a hot draw.

In collaboration with Rokid, a Hangzhou-based smart eyewear manufacturer, the museum offers innovative experiences blending digital technology and cultural heritage.

Upon entering, a virtual guide named Hehe, dressed in traditional Chinese attire, appears, offering visitors an immersive tour. As visitors gaze at the various artifacts, detailed dynamic images and usage scenarios appear, with Hehe providing explanations. In the AR world, visitors can "hold" and examine ancient porcelain treasures.

Beyond the museum, the newly reconstructed "Deqing Kiln", led by Hu Jiawang, an inheritor of the Deqing porcelain-firing craft, a national intangible cultural heritage item, is drawing increased attention. Visitors can watch in awe as porcelain marvels emerge from the kiln.

Deqing is located in the basin of the East Tiaoxi River, considered a key point of origin for Chinese porcelain.

The park integrates porcelain kiln archaeological sites, local traditional industries, and intangible cultural heritage items in a 2.5-square-kilometer space centered on porcelain, pearl farming, tea, and agriculture.
